Rachel Ramirez is entering her 19th year in education, bringing a wealth of experience across elementary, middle, and high school levels. She has served as both assistant principal and principal in Hereford ISD and Lockhart ISD, where she became known for fostering strong, lasting partnerships with students, families, and staff. Ramirez leads with empathy, clarity, and a collaborative spirit, creating learning environments where both students and educators thrive.
She holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from West Texas A&M University, a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Grand Canyon University, and a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Ramirez is a certified principal, a Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) evaluator, and a graduate of the Principal Leadership Academy through N2Learning.
