Lake Belton Middle School has served the students and families of BISD since 2000. This campus served 5th and 6th grade students under the name Tarver Intermediate from August 2000 until May 2005. Due to a growing enrollment within the district, the decision was made to convert to a middle school. We opened our doors as Lake Belton Middle School in August 2005. With over 900 students in grades 6-8, there is always a flurry of activity on campus. In addition to the four core content areas we offer classes in band, choir, orchestra, art, theater, Spanish, athletics, and multimedia. We want students to expand their horizons and try new things in an attempt to help them identify their strengths and passions. Our goal is to guide and support our students so that they are fully pre-pared to make the transition on to a successful high school experience. Life is better at the Lake!
